This book contains two short texts: "The Wheel of Analytic Meditation" and "Instructions on Vision in the Middle Way". The first employs a traditional Buddhist analysis of the body and mind to dissolve conditioned concepts and unexamined assumptions which inhibit deep understanding. The second text is a continuation providing the student with step by step guidance in the practice of meditation. Tarthang Tulku supplies an extensive commentary on each of the verses. The original Tibetan text is included.
